I recently went to the movies with one of my mentee's Vanessa. We always just show up, never really have a plan, and are always happy with our choice. This time we saw Invictus...the movie about Nelson Mandela's influence on the South African Rugby team. I was so inspired by the portrayal of Nelson Mandela. In one of the scenes one of the guards says that 'no one is invisible to Nelson Mandela'. He was so full of wisdom and forgiveness. It is hard to imagine how someone who was sent to jail for 27 years can come out with no hate, only love, compassion and a deep regard for humanity. Truly an inspirational person! WOW how powerful love really can be, when we let it.
